Car Parking

Once again I am writing to ask you NOT to park in the staff car park. The staff car park is for staff only; parents should not access the car park to collect or drop off students. This includes in the morning and at picking up time at 3pm.

The only exception to this is where we have been informed that students have a disability, and an agreement has been made to enable parental access to the car park.

Whilst I appreciate that the volume of traffic in the area surrounding school may be a source of frustration, my primary concern is to ensure that students are able to make their journey to and from school safely.

Should parents continue to use the staff car park, we may have to close the gates to prevent people parking.

Please park away from the school and walk to collect your child.

Thank you for your support and co-operation.

Bright Colours Day – Friday 27th January

This Friday is one of our agreed non-uniform days. Pupils can come to school wearing something bright.

Burns Supper – Thursday 26th Januray

Primary 7 have been working hard on this years Burn’s supper. They are very much looking forward to the event. Tickets have been on sale to P7 parents. We look forward to seeing the special performance.

Mobile Phones

Could I remind all parents and pupils that mobile phones are not permitted to be used on school premises. If they are required fro after school they should be turned off and remain in school bags throughout the day.

Pupils bring these to school at their own risk.

After School Clubs

Our After School Clubs are resuming this week, you will have recieved a confirmation letter if your child has a place at a club.

Please ensure pupils have appropriate gym clothes for sports based clubs.

Chewing Gum

Please do not allow your child to bring chewing gum to school. Pupils chewing gum will be asked to put it in the bin. Please speak to your child about not purchasing this at lunchtime.
