Helping the Homeless in Glasgow

Primary 4 are going to do a shoe-box appeal for the homeless and people living in severe poverty within Glasgow. After talking to the children we thought it would be a great idea to help others who are less fortunate than ourselves. Christmas is such a special time for all of us however, we know that some people are really struggling. If you have any spare empty shoe boxes we would love if you could send them in. Items that can be handed in are as follows; tooth paste, tooth brushes, deodorant, various toiletries new gloves, scarfs, socks, underwear and chocolate of some sort. We need to hand them in on the 15th December.

Thank you for all your support

Friday 5th November

Primary 4 assembly is on the 5th November at 9.30am in the school hall and we hope you can make it along. Our children have all been given a small part that they are happy to undertake. We will also have stations to demonstrate some of our learning. Could the children wear bright colours this can be a top, shorts, leggings, or jogging trousers. Those who wish to wear a leotard can do so. If your child does not have bright colours dark clothing will be fine. Please bring clothing in a bag on Friday with your child’s name on it. Thank you for your support.

Maths Week

Primary 4 have been busy researching, planning and making their very own time games. They have created fantastic time games and have had the opportunity to play them with different groups in our own class. We plan to share and play our games with other classes in the school. Well done children!
