Sense Poem

Today we went outside on a beautiful day and recorded sights, sounds, textures and smells from our playground.  We wrote a poem using our notes back in class.

I see bunnies as cute as can be

I hear birds chirping a sweet song

I touch the tall tickly grass

I smell mint leaves as cool as polo mints

I see flowers that look so beautiful

I hear children chatting, playing and having fun

I touch the huts that feel very smooth

I smell the lovely cut  grass

I see buzzing bees flying around

I hear lawnmowers chopping fresh grass

I touch the rough brown wood of the picnic tables

I smell the strong smell of rosemary from our herb garden
