Health and Wellbeing

November 2020

In P.E, we are finishing up with football and have all improved so much. We are all beginning to keep our head up when to know where we want to pass or shoot too and know that our standing foot generally points to where the ball is going to go. By keeping our eyes on the ball when receiving a pass, we are all so much better at controlling the ball too!

Also, we had so much fun doing fitness stations with Gary Moore, improving our jumping, throwing, agility and running skills.

October 2020

IN P.E, we have been doing some fitness activities and have been looking at different ball skills, focussing on hocket and football. We have been learning about the correct way to hold our sticks and the best way to use these in a safe and effective manner.

Term 1

Luckily, the weather has allowed us to do some outdoor P.E this term and we have been looking at athletics. Learning all about the different races, jumping events as well as the throwing events. We used the track to do relay races, cones to help with the long jump and triple jump as well as bean bags to help us learn how to throw a shot putt.

PATHS

Every week we celebrate our PATHS kid by complimenting them on how much we like different things about them, we celebrate how we are all good friends and hard workers and get to take these lovely compliments home as a poster that Mr Hughes creates with all of our lovely and kind words about each other.
