It is International Women’s Day on 8 March. so why not try one of the books on this week’s display to celebrate? There’s books about famous women who have had an impact on our world. Try one today!
Mrs Vaughan is delighted with the new book stands which display the weekly displays and new books much better. You can see the book covers and something may jump out at you as a must read!
Displays change weekly so remember to pop in and see what available. Recent displays have included LGBT+ and Here be dragons!
As well as the Shelf Help books in the Library, there is now a Wellbeing Wall with information on where to get help and different wellbeing issues.
It will be refreshed every month so look out for new information every time you visit the Library.
Mrs Vaughan has been busy processing loads of new books won from Lit in Colour Competition – 100 Penguin books by authors of colour for you to enjoy! Although the books arrived last October, they have been in storage until Mrs Vaughan unearthed them!
Now ready for loan, these fiction and non-fiction books are a fabulous addition to the library stock, improving the diversity of books available.
