Come back ready for the new term with your library books – even if VERY overdue – bring them back please! Still a large number to be returned from June 2023 so make Mrs Vaughan happy in 2024 by bringing any library books you find over the holidays back in January!

The first meeting is Monday 26 September. Bring your lunch at the start of lunch. Mrs Vaughan looks forward to seeing you for some booky fun!
Mrs Vaughan would like to invite anyone interested in joining a new Book Club at lunch time in the Library to let her know – which day suits you best, what you would like to do at meetings, etc.
Based on feedback of interested pupils, the new Book Club will launch in September. Get in touch ASAP!

It is International Women’s Day on 8 March. so why not try one of the books on this week’s display to celebrate? There’s books about famous women who have had an impact on our world. Try one today!
Mrs Vaughan is delighted with the new book stands which display the weekly displays and new books much better. You can see the book covers and something may jump out at you as a must read!
Displays change weekly so remember to pop in and see what available. Recent displays have included LGBT+ and Here be dragons!
Kilwinning Academy is running a Dec the Doors competition and Mrs Vaughan couldn’t resist entering!
The theme is “Books…. Not just for Christmas!” All the “decorations” on the tree and book covers of new books recently added to stock. See something you like the look of? Pop in and grab it for the Christmas holidays!
