Local Library Open!
Do you need somewhere to study after school? Do you need to a space to chill?
In that case, why not drop into your local library in Kilwinning? Situated in St Winning’s Lane – only 5 minutes walk from school – the local library has:
- study space for you to use
- a great selection of young adult books, quick reads and biographies
- a Shelf Help section with self-help books focusing on mental health and wellbeing
- Art Gallery with comfy sofas – you can curl up with a good book, chill, use a laptop, etc.
- free printing for homework assignments.
Opening times are:
Monday, Thursday, Friday – 10am-1pm and 2-5pm
Tuesday 10am-1pm and 2-6pm
Saturday – 10am-1pm
Not got a library card? No problem! Just ask at the desk about accessing your account.
Wellbeing Information
As well as the Shelf Help books in the Library, there is now a Wellbeing Wall with information on where to get help and different wellbeing issues.
It will be refreshed every month so look out for new information every time you visit the Library.
