PROMETHEAN ACTIVINSPIRE
Many of you will have been using new Promethean panels in your classrooms over the last year or so. If you wish to learn a bit more about your panel, why not create an account and gain some certification?
DIGI LEARN SCOT WEBSITE
The Digital Skills Team at Education Scotland are constantly developing their website. They hold webinars on various topics each week and links to them are on their site. If you are unable to join at the ‘live time’ you can view them on their YouTube channel later.
MICROSOFT EDUCATOR CENTRE
Use your Glow e-mail to sign up in the form username@glowmail.org.uk as this is a recognised Microsoft address unlike our normal one.
Use the learning pathways to start as there is a myriad of courses and it can be rather overwhelming initially. Start earning badges and points. Become an Microsoft Innovative Educator once you gain 1000 points.
You can also work towards Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert status.
Lessons range from 10 minutes to a couple of hours. You can go at your own pace and choose what you want to learn.
APPLE TEACHER
Create an account using your Apple ID.
GOOGLE EDUCATOR
A bit more intensive with an exam at the end, becoming a Google Educator but worthwhile if you are working with G Suite in Glow.
