At Greenwood Academy we are proud to support pupils to access the mainstream curriculum.  Pupils are supported in classes and on a one-to-one basis.

Our teachers and support staff –

• Facilitate access of the curriculum to our pupils.
• Work in partnership with parents/carers, other professionals and outside agencies.
• Liaise with Hearing Impaired colleagues on pupil progress.
• Liaise with and advise subject teachers.
• Provide regular assessment and monitoring of pupil progress.
• Differentiate pupil work when required.

Enhancing the Curriculum

Last session our pupils had the opportunity to be involved in the Solar Bear ‘Happiness’ project.  Pupils filmed across the school and performed in front of their peers.
