Fluid Power Challenge Rubric

2017-18 saw all of the secondary schools trained in the Secondary Engineer Fluid Power Challenge and 2/3 of the Primary Schools trained in the Primary Engineer Projects in Moray. And after a fantastic Moray Celebration event in April 2018 and success at the Regional Final for Primary Engineer we are looking ahead to session 2018-19.

The final Cohort of Primary Schools will receives training and their kits on Tuesday 11th September with the training event held at Moray College.

There will be an opportunity for Primary and Secondary schools to get together to share good practice from last year and to discuss resources produced by myself as RAiSE PSDO to support the embedding of the project within the curriculum to teach literacy, numeracy, science and technology E&Os. This will also take place in September 2018 (Booking through Moray Gateway CPD Manager).

Schools can then be working on the project with pupils at any time between September and March 2019 when the next Moray Celebration will be held within Moray STEM Week (11th-15th March 2019) at Moray College.

I look forward to seeing even more of our schools participating and pupils enjoying the benefits of learning and thinking like an engineer!
