Good Morning everyone. The weekly work is accessible below but also have a look at the PE and Health Week page for activities and upcoming events.

Literacy

In class we were looking at how to lay out a letter, your address on top right hand corner and the recipients address on the left hand side. Try the attached activity to practise letter layout. LETTER WRITING

We have been learning to read for information. Access the reading comprehension and answer as many questions as you can about the text. The answers are attached for you to self assess. Sky Hawks

Literacy / Numeracy

What do Isaac Newton, Ava Lovelace and Albert Einstein have in common? Access the file Famous Mathematicians for information. Make a poster about one of the mathematicians detailing interesting facts about them.

Every child has the right to meet with other children and to join groups and organisations, as long as this does not stop other people from enjoying their rights

We have all been unable to meet with friends like we usually do. Can you list 5 friends that would like to meet up with and 5 fun things that you would like to do when lockdown is over.

Technology / HWB – optional

Look at the would you rather quiz attached. Ask questions to members of your household. OR call friends and relatives. Can they give reasons for their answers? Are your answers the same? WYR

Can you make up your own quiz? Use any package you wish – word, excel, powerpoint. It is your choice.
