Health Week(s) 2020 – Day 1

Monday 22nd June

Today we have:

  • Daily Exercise Challenge
  • The Teachers’ Dance – Round 1
  • The ‘Bishy Boa’ Challenge
  • Bishopmill Football Team Drills
  • McMurdo Challenge

Daily Exercise Challenge
Today Miss McNab will set you a daily challenge to complete every day during Health week and during the weekend if you are really motivated. Watch the video and complete the challenge. Try not have any puppies around you when working as they are very off putting.

The Teachers Dance – Round 1
Traditionally P7 pupils lead a morning dance for the school each day of Health Week. At the end of the week the Bishopmill Primary Staff complete their own dance for the school to copy. However, this year our staff members have created their own dance to two songs.

The Bishy Boa Challenge
We would love ALL of our pupils to do this including our new P1 pupils. Once Health Week is completed, we are going to arrange for your stones to become a permanent feature of our school to help us remember these unusual times and the strength, determination and resilience you have all demonstrated. Please try and have your stone in place by Thursday 2nd July 12pm.

Bishopmill Football Team
During the lockdown our Bishopmill Primary School football team have been working hard on their drills to help develop their skills. They have been kind enough to share with us:

McMurdo Challenge

One of our school families has made a fantastic Teddy Bear Fitness Trail for you to try.

It starts at the roundabout at the bottom of Covesea Rise and goes up into Hamilton Gardens to the top of West Covesea Road.

There are different levels of exercises to choose from. Hunt for the teddy bears on the lamppost to see what exercise to do.

Have fun! (Picture clues below)
