Update on Mi:Space
On the last week of Term one P6B created a ‘Sway’ presentation to outline their wishlist for furniture and fittings for the Mi:Space project. We totaled up the points we had spent and looks like we have spent about half of our total points, leaving half left for additional items and technologies! The team at Mi:Space are really busy trying to work through our order!
Miss Addis went to a training event on the 27th for VEX robots to explore how these will be used in our classroom. They look fantastic, with lots of opportunities to learn new skills within technologies and develop further social skills!
P6a board game design
P6a were busy researching, designing then creating their own board games this term.
We all had amazing ideas and the finished products look fab!
We also had to write a set of instructions to tell someone how to play the games.
Check out our pictures below!
Final Designs
P6 were really lucky to have Mrs Maitland come in and help finalise some designs. She had a focus group of 6 children who justified our thoughts so far and created some key areas. We are now going to look at furniture that will make those of these key areas. We would like to order some furniture by the end of the week!
Testing Out!
Time lapse
We made a time lapse from the start of the day until lunch, showing what space we use in our classroom. Some of the children were only allowed to use the carpet, some could work in a group at their table and others were on their own desk and were working independently.

PAT PALS
Thank you to everyone who came along to P6’s PAT PAL. It was great to see so many people there and for the learners to share some of the work we have been doing.
