We understand that starting nursery can be a worrying and anxious time for children and parents. Therefore, Rainbow Family Centre has created a settling-in procedure which aims to make the transition from home to nursery as smooth, and stress-free, as possible.

The Settling-In Process

On their first day, children will attend for 1 hour. For many children, this is often their first time, away from their parents or close family, in an unfamiliar environment.

Following, the first day, the settling-in process will vary for each child. Our staff are highly experienced and will work in partnership with parents to ensure that each child is supported and that the settling-in process is individual to their needs.
