At Larkfield we have one of a kind Block Play Rooms which were developed in September 2024 after consultation with children. One room is situated as an extension of the 3-5 playroom, and the other is an extension of the 2-3 playroom.

These rooms provide a welcoming space where children have the freedom to explore, create, and discover at their own pace. Using natural materials and open-ended resources, the environment encourages imagination, problem-solving, and collaboration.

This has been a proud achievement for our staff team, who have worked hard to design spaces that truly reflect the children’s interests and support their growth and learning through play.
