The Art and Design Department provide learning experiences for pupils in S1 – 6 and provide National Qualifications to Advanced Higher level.  Higher Photography was introduced to the Department in Session 2016/17 and we are currently developing innovative approaches to support our students.

Session 2022-2023

Welcome back after the Summer break! The Art & Design department staff send their best wishes and are looking forward to our young people returning to school.

We have added a new link to the BBC teach website which has a wide range of fun and exciting resources to engage you in your learning at home. We particularly like the short series of films that have various artists tell us about their careers in art, crafts and design. See link below.

Staff and pupils are now very familiar with Teams and will be continuing to use this platform to provide homework tasks and  useful resources to enhance classroom learning.
