Banton, Oh Aye

jump

The Banton Biggies wrote some verses, have a listen and a read.

We sent her for a neep, oh aye, oh aye,
We sent her for a neep , oh aye, oh aye,
We sent her for a neep, and she came back wi’ some sheep,
Oh the World must be comin’ tae an end, oh aye.

We sent her for shortbread oh aye, oh aye,
We sent her for shortbread oh aye, oh aye,
We sent her for shortbread and came back with cornbread.
Oh the World must be comin’ tae an end, oh aye.

We sent her for broccoli oh aye, oh aye
We sent her for broccoli oh aye, oh aye
We sent her for broccoli and she went and played monopoly,
Oh the World must be comin’ tae an end, oh aye.

We sent her oot for tatties oh aye, oh aye,
we sent her for tatties oh aye, oh aye,
We sent her for tatties but she came back wae fatties,
Oh the world must be comin’ to an end, oh aye.

We sent her for some tea oh aye, oh aye,
We sent her for some tea oh aye, oh aye,
We sent her for tea an she stopped for a pee
Oh the world must be comin’ to an end, oh aye.
