Dean Armstrong has been a Lecturer in Education at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) since 2021. Before this, Dean was an Associate Lecturer at UWS since 2019. Dean is a fully registered General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) in primary teaching and holds additional registration in teaching children and young people with additional support needs from 3-18.

Dean is a Vision Schools Scotland Team member and helps assess school applications and renewals. He also leads the new Vision Schools Scotland Library Network.
