Vision Schools Scotland Awards Ceremony 9th February at the Scottish Parliament

The 2022 Vision Schools Scotland’s Award Ceremony with take place on Thursday 9th February, 1.00pm – 2.30pm at the Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh, hosted by Jackie Baillie MSP and Jackson Carlaw MSP.

Vision Schools Scotland in partnership with the Holocaust Educational Trust are delighted to celebrate the achievement of schools in Holocaust Education.  Awards will be distributed to eleven schools that have demonstrated sustainability,
commitment and good practice in teaching and learning about the Holocaust.

Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills, Ms Shirley-Anne Somerville, will distribute the awards to schools. Our guest speaker is award-winning journalist and author Chitra Ramaswamy, whose recent book Homelands: The history of a friendship (2022) explores the story of friendship with 97 year old Holocaust survivor, Henry Wuga.
