For my first placement I would like to set a few goals that I can aim to achieve:

I would like to look at ways of managing behaviour in the classroom and studying different strategies and ways of dealing with this. This links to the SPR standards of knowing how and when to seek the advice of colleagues in managing behaviour and demonstrating the ability to justify the approach taken in managing behaviour.

I want to make sure I make use of all resources made available to me in the classroom and school, including technology, musical resources and using outdoor learning. The SPR states that student teachers must “demonstrate that they can select and use a wide variety of resources and teaching approaches, including digital technologies and outdoor learning opportunities”.
