Ar Prìomhachasan Sgoile | Our School Improvement Plan Priorities 2025-26

Glasgow City Council’s Education Services have created a set of five challenges, to which schools should align their improvement priorities. Within the challenges, schools are tasked to devise missions which will move the school forward. Next session we have selected the following challenges:

Challenge: Improve overall attainment in Gaelic Literacy reviewing and refining approaches to planning to ensure consistency across the school (QI: 2.3 and 3.1)

- - - Mission 1: To improve and secure approaches to immersion and synthetic phonics across the school

Challenge: Improve levels of Achievement and rates of Progress and Attainment; Increase levels of Engagement and Participation.

- - - Mission 2: Improve the pedagogy of differentiation across all classes, leading to improved attainment in Literacy.

Challenge: Foster a whole school nurturing and inclusive ethos to support the improved wellbeing of pupils, staff and families.

- - - Mission 3: Develop a shared understanding of the role of Health and Wellbeing and Inclusion in improving outcomes for all learners – embedding the nurturing principles across the school community.
