Ar Prìomhachasan Sgoile | Our School Improvement Plan Priorities 2026-27

Glasgow City Council’s Education Services have created a set of five challenges, to which schools should align their improvement priorities. Within the challenges, schools are tasked to devise missions which will move the school forward. Next session we have selected the following challenges:

Challenge: Every learner making strong progress in Gaelic Literacy (QI: 2.3 and 3.1)

        • Mission 1: Accelerate children’s progress in reading through the consistent application of high-quality pedagogical approaches across the school.

Challenge: Every learner knowing, improving and achieving  (QI: 2.3 and 3.1)

        • Mission 2: Accelerate children’s progress and increase learner ownership through the consistent application of high-quality Assessment for Learning approaches across the school.

Challenge: Foster a whole school nurturing and inclusive ethos to support the improved wellbeing of pupils, staff and families.

        • Mission 3: Develop a shared understanding of the role of Health and Wellbeing and Inclusion in improving outcomes for all learners – embedding the nurturing principles across the school community.
