As we introduce the option of using the Blocks editor in Glow Blogs we may find some incompatibilities with existing technologies. We will list any problems with e-Portfolios and workarounds on this page.
We are investigating several blocks that do not work when producing printed pdf profiles with e-portfolios. Several blocks do not work well. We are advising that you do not use the Blocks editor for e-portfolios at the moment if you need some of these features.
- Emojis do not render correctly in profiles.
- Smart quotation marks do not render properly. This should not be a problem if you type in the blog editor. It will be if you paste from Word or other apps that use smart punctuation. They will look normal in the rendered post, but not in the profiles.
- webp images will cause the download of a profile to fail. These can still be printed.
