This week was really fun because we went to Queen’s park! It was really funny when my friend Areeba .N walked into a puddle and her foot got all wet! HAHAHA LOL! It was also really funny when my friend Khadija told me that when they went on a trip to the recording studio, Areeba .B was singing really badly and she had no idea she was being recorded!
LOL YOU’VE BEEN EXPOSED AREEBA!!!
Hi!
We are Aisha and Lee, and today we will be telling you about our time at the TCA Climbing Academy. We went there with 9 other pupils and our teacher and another teacher. First we walked from the school to the Climbing Academy, when we got there we sat outside for a couple of minutes and ate our lunch, and then went in to start climbing! when we got there we had to wear special shoes to help us grip the rocks. We had an instructor who guided us throughout the course. We went to the kids area to practice, we first had a safety talk to keep us right. We first had to follow a purple route which was a really easy route, for a bit of practice. We played games such as rock paper scissors, tag and shark attack!
This week we have been learning about alternative energy. Everyone has a group and our group is doing Solar Energy. I found out that the largest solar power plant in the world is found in the Mojave desert, California. We have also been doing Mental Maths. MM is fun too! I love doing Art and today we designed a poster. I made it about ice-cream, yummy! I also love buddying. My buddy is Aimee Wang. My best friend Nabeeha always makes me laugh.
Hi,
Our names are Zaina and Hafsah we are going to tell you about our time at the unity festival. We made an up-cycled banner using our school pupils and staffs handprints to show unity. Here’s some pics and videos for you to enjoy…
Following today’s short film which we used to develop Emotional Literacy in class, here is the title if you wish to download it. Definitely worth a watch and it has won loads of awards for Best Animation!
Here’s Miss Harker and the girls telling us about what our school does to promote Inclusion, Resilience and Love.
Hi!
