  • If yes, how are they using the money that they earn?

Creating showing sentences from telling sentences

Today, Mrs Querabi came to our class to assist us with our Writing. We discussed and practiced transforming telling sentences into showing sentences. We thought about sensory language we could use; what we might see, feel, hear, smell, taste etc…

Homework task for this evening; Can you do the same for the following telling sentences?

  1. It was Winter.
  2. They had arrived in Tokyo, Japan.
  3. Nathan was ecstatic.
  4. Maria was feeling poorly.
  5. Scott arrived at school late.
