Welcome Back

It’s like we were never away!

Welcome back P6/7 – Mrs Brightman is your teacher this year. You can look forward to lots of fun as well as lots of hard work this year!

Some of you are getting ready for secondary so that means becoming really responsible and independent with your learning. I’ll be expecting you to be prepared for your lessons and to try extra hard to grow those brains as big as you can before leaving lovely St. Albert’s.

Primary 6s, you have the privilege of seeing the P7s get ready the year before you have to do it! This means you’ll know exactly what to do next year! I might push you extra hard sometimes so just remind me ‘we’re only P6s!’ when that happens!!

This blog is where we can show the world (mainly your parents) what we’re up to in class. They might need your help to find it but make sure you show them all our great pictures and info.

You’ll be writing and maintaining the blog so all your ideas for how to make it excellent are really welcome!

Love from Mrs B. x

Fabulous First Homework

To kick off our Sustainability context (and to find out some interesting facts about each other!), our first homework was to create a box of facts to share with the class. The extra challenge (set by an international friend of ours, Beatrice Commander) was to package our box in recycled materials!

Beatrice is also in P6 but lives in France. She is an eco-warrior and has her own blog which tries to get other children like her to save the planet! You should have a look at it! https://bealist.wordpress.com/about
