We went to the Scotland Street Museum and we saw two exhibitions about immigrants from southern Asian countries who have come to Glasgow.

We saw how they have set up successful businesses and made a lot of money for example from restaurants, fabric making and shops. We also learned that Asians have become councillors in the Scottish Government. There was a special Qu’ran that he had sworn himself into his role with.

It was so interesting for those of us with a Pakistani or Indian background as it showed us a timeline of when our families moved to Scotland.
