Primary 3 traditional races will start at 11.25 on Tuesday morning.  Children should be in their PE kit and be wearing sun cream.

Primary 3 have been enjoying creating canvases for Eid-Al-Fitr. They have donated money to the Human Appeal for the canvases and are taking their finished art work home for their families.

Today P3 made a road for the Bee-bots and planned the route they would take. They had to work together to count how many moves and which direction they took at each stage. Not every group managed to get round the route due to problems with communicating instructions. This showed everyone how important it is to work together…it also gave everyone a little laugh as the Bee-bots went off road.

This week our focus is Digital Learning .  We use digital resources in a lot of our learning and especially enjoy using the I-pads. Here are some photographs of our digital learning so far.

Last week we had a whole school trip to Kelburn Country Park.  We had lots of fun exploring the grounds.  Some of us even managed to have a nap on the way home.

Last week was a busy one for P3.  We had a full week of dance with the Barrowland Ballet.  It was a huge success and we performed to the whole school at Friday’s Assembly.

We also had and amazing storyteller called Ben.  He showed us how to be creative in story telling and brought along some props for us to use.

Primary 3 were developing their problem solving skills today. Many of the pupils said it was too hard but they were encouraged to challenge themselves until they worked out the answers. There were 8 different flags – can ou figure out what the 8 combinations are?

You can only use red and blue to colour and you must keep the flag style the same each time. (Copy the one from the whiteboard)
