Good afternoon!

This has been a very quiet week in school. However teachers used the time to plan an exciting term 2 for pupils and families. We wish all our support staff well and hope a solution is agreed soon.

Reminders….

  • Nut Allergies – Please do not send any foods containing nuts into school
  • Please remember to order your child’s lunch online.
  • Walking Bus every Friday at 3pm
  • Cafe Connect every Friday from 2.15pm

Events….

  • Primary 2 Families Connect Programme continues for group – Tuesday 3rd Octber @ 9 – 10.15am in room 10

Primary 2 & P2’s in P2/3 parents/carers are invited to our 6 week family learning programme including Numeracy, literacy and Health and Well-being.

  • God’s Loving Plan Information Session – Thursday 5th October @ 2.15pm

Please note change of date for this meeting. 

All parents/carers are invited to join an information session to discuss our current teaching in Health & Well being & Relationships from P1 to P7.

  • Men’s Sports Day – Thursday 5th October @ 1.30pm

All our Dad’s, uncles, grandpas are invited to join Mr Corrigan in a ‘Men’s get together’. Lots of fun, challenges & sport.

  • Launch of St Albert’s Additional Support Needs Infographic – Wednesday 11th October @ 1.30pm. Please see additional flyer above.
  • Parents evenings – Tuesday 10th October @ 5 – 7.30pm & Wednesday 11th October @ 3.15 – 5.30pm

All parents are invited to meet their pupil’s teacher to discuss their child’s learning and progress.

  • Research Opportunity for Parents & Carers – Thursday 12th October @ 9.15 – 10.30am in Room 10. Please see flyer above & contact office if you wish to attend.

Preview of term 2 events (Dates & Times subject to change)

  • ‘God’s Loving Plan’ health education information session for P6 & P7 parents’/Carers’ – Wednesday 1st November @ 2pm in room 10

All parents who have children in P6, P6/7 and P7 are invited to come along to find out more about our health education programme. This is very important to help us plan our lessons.

  • Halloween Party – Tuesday 31st October @ 5 – 6.30pm

Tickets are on sale from the office at £3, this includes Juice/water, crisps & chocolate/fruit

  • Parent Council Meeting – Tuesday 7th November @ 5 – 6.30pm

All council members are invited: agenda to follow. Child care Provided.

  • Mass in school to celebrate St Albert’s Day – Wednesday 15th November @ 10.30am

All parents/Carers welcome.

  • Book week Scotland 6th – 12th November
  • Class visits to Pollokshields Library
  • Family book activities for P1 – P3

All P1 – P3 parents/carers are invited to join their child in reading activities & receive their Read, Write & Count packs.

  • Turner Prize Art Exhibition – Thursday 30th November @ 1.15pm
  • Christmas Fayre – Friday 8th December @ 9 – 11am
  • Nativity Performance – Monday 18th December @ 1.45pm & Tuesday 19th December @ 9.30am
  • Class Parties – Wednesday 20th December

Other events will be added in time.

Family Trip June 2023 

We require to book buses for our trip NOW! Suggestions Please???

Same place as last year??? Somewhere New???

Please see courses available below free of charge. Let me know which ones you are interested in.

We are arranging a Certified First Aid Course for Parents/Carers with the Clyde College. This will run on a Friday morning. Please contact the office if you are interested in taking part.
