King’s Park Italy Ski Trip 2026 – An Opportunity Not to Be Missed

We are delighted to announce the launch of the King’s Park Italy Ski Trip 2026, an exciting residential experience for current S1 and S2 pupils. Taking place in Bardonecchia, Italy, this trip offers pupils the chance to experience alpine life, develop new skills, and create lasting memories alongside their peers.

A ski trip is about far more than learning to ski. Pupils will challenge themselves physically, build confidence, and develop independence while spending a week immersed in a new culture and environment. From their first steps on the snow to evenings spent socialising and taking part in organised activities, the trip is designed to be inclusive, supportive and genuinely unforgettable — whether pupils are complete beginners or already familiar with winter sports.

Safety, supervision and pupil wellbeing are central to the planning of this trip. Pupils will be supported throughout by experienced King’s Park staff and qualified instructors, allowing them to enjoy the experience in a structured and well-managed setting. Living and travelling together also gives pupils the opportunity to strengthen friendships, develop resilience and represent the school with pride.

Families are encouraged to use the King’s Park Ski Club website for further information about the trip, including photographs, reflections and updates from previous ski visits. The website provides a valuable insight into what pupils can expect and how similar trips have run in the past.

More detailed practical information, including costs, timelines and how to express interest, has been shared with families via letter. All letters that have been shared with families can be downloaded from the letters page in the event that you misplace the original.

We look forward to working closely with pupils and parents over the coming months and are excited to offer another memorable international experience as part of life at King’s Park.
