High flyers in primary 5/6

Last Friday, primary 5/6 along with primary 6/7 went to the Glasgow Science Centre to observe the centenary of the RAF.  Lots of fun and lots of learning took place as the class had the chance to sit in a Typhoon jet, programme their own robots and ask those in the aircraft industry a host of interesting questions.

Swara, Leena and Alishbah exploring how helicopters fly.

Adam, Lakshya and Avi getting to grips with coding their jet.

The boy putting the pilot through his paces.

Naomi, Chloe and Rose successfully code their robot. (Rose also keen to see what goodies she has in her bag!)

Captain Aditya ready for take-off!

SIR YES SIR!

Titus checking out the cockpit.

Laibah, Liliana and Alishbah asking the pilot some really interesting questions.

Nasser trying to figure out what all the buttons do!

  2. This was a really worthwhile trip and I spoke to most of you who all seemed to have a great time – the goody bags were an added bonus!!
