This week has been another busy and interesting one in our class. In maths, we have been learning all about time. We explored the different roles of the hour hand and the minute hand and how they work together on a clock. We practised telling the time using quarter past, half past and quarter to, which helped us build our confidence.

As part of our IDL topic, “World of Sports,” we had lots of fun inventing our own new sports. We worked creatively to think about rules, equipment and how the game would be played.

In writing, we started a new genre: explanation writing. We worked in pairs to write an explanation of what a toothbrush is and how it is used. This helped us practise organising our ideas clearly and working together.

We also completed a form on our Rights, thinking about how we show respect and responsibility in our school. It has been a productive week, and we are proud of all our hard work.
