We had another fun week in P3a this week. We had some 6th year pupils from Smithycroft come to lead our PE lesson on Wednesday. They are taking part in Smithycroft‘s sports leadership programme and they were fantastic at leading some warm up games, basketball skill drills and a cool down.

We did some information handling in maths, recording data in the form of tally marks and bar graphs. In literacy we finished our class novel ‘The Enormous Crocodile’. This was very popular with all the children and it has sparked an interest in other Roald Dahl texts.

We continued with some printing in art, this time using poster paints. There was some trial and error whilst finding  the best quantity of paint and ensuring we didn‘t spoil our designs whilst printing onto our card, but we had some good results and had fun in the process.
