The Music Department
Meet the Team
Ms E Hendry
I play the bagpipes – my biggest claim to fame is being the Lone Piper at Scotland Rugby Internationals at Murrayfield
My favourite music changes so regularly, but at the moment I’m listening to a lot of Vivaldi and Holst when catching up on work, and Oasis and Snow Patrol for my drive home.
I love a bit of technology too and always on the look out for new ways to use it in the classroom
Mr M Robertson
I have a dog called Charlie
I’m originally from Greenock
When I was little, I always wanted to be a pilot but couldn’t because I’m colourblind…although I have flown a plane!
My favourite composer is Rachmaninov
The music department at Whitehill is lucky enough to have its own little wing of the ground floor, with two well equipped classrooms and 5 practice rooms.
We also have a team of excellent instructors with us during the week too to help complete our teaching team.
Keep an eye on the ‘What’s On’ tab for news of all our up coming performances, and of course for the must up to date news, make sure you follow us @Whitehill_music on twitter!
