Welcome to our City of Dance page

Glasgow Schools City of Dance Competition is made up of 16 heats across the city. A fantastic dance event where young people can express themselves through the art of movement and dance. Schools can showcase or compete at our local area heats.

Dance routines can be choreographed in any style Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Pom, Cheerleading, Bollywood, Irish, Ballet, Musical Theatre and many more.

All schools are welcome to take part in City of Dance Primary, Secondary and ASL Schools.

From the 16 local area heats our judges will select 1 golden ticket winner to win a pass straight through to the finals in June.

Or City of Dance Championships is always held in the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow, the atmosphere is electric with approximately 50 schools taking part.
