Hi boys, girls and families,
Just a quick message to wish you all a very Happy Easter.  I hope everyone is doing well and I’m missing you all very much!
Try to enjoy the Easter Holidays and use the opportunity to recharge, ready for the final term.  Hopefully it won’t be too much longer and we’ll be all together again!

Primary 2/1 Sumdog – Reading, Spelling and Maths

I have started online reading, maths and spelling challenges for our class to participate in during this week.  The spelling is made up of separate common words lists for Primary 1 and Primary 2, including this week’s words, as well as some revision words.  Let’s see who completes the challenge!

To access the spelling and reading sections of Sumdog, click on ‘maths’ on the left hand side of the regular dashboard and change for spelling/reading.  I have included some slots in the daily diaries throughout the week, but feel free to access at any point to try to complete the challenges set. Good Luck!

Properties of Shape with Primary 2/1

Primary 2/1 have been learning all about 3D shapes and their properties.  We used straws to make shapes while exploring the number of straight edges in 3D shape.  We investigated faces through building with various shapes and building our own shapes.  We had great fun working alongside our partners to guess the shape, wearing blindfolds and with only their descriptions of the shape’s properties.  Have a look to see what we got up to!
