Dear Parents and Guardians

I attach below a copy of the schools’ Standards and Qualities Report (SQR). This is published every year and highlights our achievements in 25/26 and shows what our priorities are for the upcoming year.

We have GCC priorities to embed and this year they are increasing Reading and Numeracy attainment.  Our school priorities are: improving the delivery of Physical Education, developing our play enquiry, promoting and recording wider achievement, increasing attendance through specific interventions and a focus on Equalities which will involve staff training and pupil and parent input covering all of the protected characteristics.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are no longer able to host the Meet the Teacher event on Wednesday 2^nd September.  It will now take place on the following Wednesday 9^th September.  This event starts at 6pm.  You will have the opportunity to visit your child’s class and talk with their teacher between 6-7pm.

We will be hosting a MacMillan coffee event on this evening, and we invite you to stay for some coffee and cake.  The event will finish at 7.30pm. Any donations of home-baking, cakes and biscuits would be greatly appreciated with all funds going to a very worthwhile cause.
