Interhouse Rewards Day
Our overall house champions are rewarded in the last week of summer term with a day of inflatables. It’s safe to say the winning house are always delighted to recieve their prize!
Merit System
Our merit system allows young people to be awarded points by their class teachers at any time. These merit points are issued via Satchel one. There is 14 headings under which young people can be rewarded. These include things like being helpful, ready to learn, showing leadership, good teamwork and good homework. We also have a monthly badge focus for things such as excellent timekeeping, showing kindness, showing respect and class champion. A prize draw is made at the end of the month for pupils who received a badge.
These merits are considered along side attendance and uniform in order to award young people a bronze, silver or gold reward at the end of each session. The rewards are subject to change each year but typical rewards include:
Bronze – Pizza afternoon
Silver – Afternoon at Flip out Trampoline Park
Gold – Trip to Alton Towers
School Awards Nights
Our BGE and Senior Awards Evenings are a fantastic way to celebrate the many successes of our young people each academic session.
Sports Day
Our annual School Sports Day in June always provides a fun and exciting end to our summer term. All four Houses compete to win the House Trophy and be crowned the overall House Champions! All pupils in the winning House win a prize in the last week of term which adds to the competitive spirit on the day!

School Radio
Our very own school radio is a fantastic medium that allows our young people to develop a number of key employability skills with lots of leadership opportunities. Celebrating successes and giving pupils a voice and a platform to express themselves are two of many fantastic opportunities our school radio provides.
