MCR Pathways
MCR Pathways provides targeted support for young people to help them realise and fulfil their potential through education. MCR provides 1-1 Mentoring (S2-S6) with a trained volunteer, We help young pupils to build motivation, commitment and resilience.
I am the MCR pathways coordinator at both Kings Park Secondary and Bellahouston Academy. My job is to oversee the mentor programme, support young people to build relationships with their mentor to make the most of this opportunity and support mentors with their invaluable role. MY working pattern within KP currently is all day Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday morning. When in Kings Park you can find me in the partners room in the main teaching block.
