Assessments

All pupils undertaking National 5, Higher, or Advanced Higher qualifications will participate in a Assessment Period in December. These assessments are primarily conducted during class time, although the assembly hall may also be utilized. The purpose of these assessments is to track pupils’ progress across their courses and to set targets to aim for improvement.

Some courses include practical assessments, which must be completed and submitted to the SQA by March or April. Pupils are advised to confirm exact submission dates with their teachers.
