Introduction to the Health & Wellbeing Faculty
Welcome to the Physical Education (PE) and Home Economics (HE) Department at King’s Park Secondary! Our mission is to inspire and empower young people to lead active, healthy, and balanced lives. Through a combination of practical experiences and theoretical knowledge, we equip students with essential skills to support their physical, mental, and social well-being while preparing them for the challenges of modern life.
In PE, students explore a wide range of physical fitness pursuits, fostering teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity. In HE, students develop essential life skills such as cooking, nutrition, financial literacy, and an understanding of sustainable living.
