A Week Full of Wonder and Adventure!
What an incredible week we’ve had! Our pupils have been learning, exploring, and discovering in the most amazing ways. Here’s a glimpse into what has been happening at our school.
Outdoor Learning at Pinkston
This week, we ventured out to Pinkston again for some fantastic outdoor learning experiences. Our pupils got hands-on with nature, building fires, exploring wood trails, and enjoying a special treat—toasted marshmallows!

Butterflies and Mathematics
Our butterfly topic has been soaring! We’ve woven these beautiful creatures into our numeracy lessons, exploring the concept of symmetry. It’s been wonderful to see our pupils discover how mathematics appears in nature all around us.

The Magic Release at Kings Park
The highlight of the week came when our caterpillars transformed into butterflies—and some of our pupils had the special opportunity to release them at Kings Park. Watching these magnificent creatures take flight for the first time was amazing.

A Visit from the Animal Man
On Tuesday, we welcomed the Animal Man to school! Pupils had an unforgettable experience meeting some amazing creatures and even getting the chance to hold them. The excitement and wonder on their faces was priceless.

Cooking Up Delicious Skills
In our Cooking class this week, pupils put their skills to the test, creating delicious potato wedges and a creamy avocado dip.

What a week of learning, and adventure. We can’t wait to see what next week brings!

Welcome to another week of exciting activities and community engagement!

This week we also marked and celebrated Neurodiversity Week. Our school hosted a Coffee Morning where staff and students came together to learn more about neurodiversity and the importance of creating inclusive spaces for everyone.
