Parents are often the biggest influence on a young person’s next step, but many aren’t sure how apprenticeships work in Scotland or how they compare with university. This session gives them a clear picture of:
- How the Scottish apprenticeship system works, from Foundation to Graduate Apprenticeships
- What employers look for and when applications open
- How they can support their child’s decision-making at home
Parents will hear directly from employers who hire apprentices. We’ll have multiple employers on board, with Deloitte and AtkinsRéalis already signed up to present.
