An adult presence is provided in the playgrounds at breaktimes in terms of the Schools (Safety and Supervision of Pupils) (Scotland) Regulations, 1990.

The classroom assistants, SEN auxiliaries and the janitor are the adult presence in the playground during the interval and lunchtime.   When it rains the pupils stay indoors.   The classroom assistants and the janitor patrol the corridors.
