P6a & P6b

Primary 6a & 6b have been working very hard in preparation for next week’s Victorians assembly. The children are super excited to perform and also for the chance to show parents the wonderful inventions they made for homework.

I am sure you all know this already, but just in case you missed it, our assembly is on Friday 8th March 1.30pm – 2.30pm. We really hope Primary 6a & 6b family and friends can make it along.

Story writing in P2a

  1. Yesterday, P2a wrote stories with their partner. This term we have been learning to write about settings within a story. Each pair chose a different setting to describe, using adjectives and their senses.

One story was called ‘The Amazing Safari Park’ and the children wrote that they could hear a noisy monkey and see a colourful bird. In another story called ‘The Jungle Picnic’ the children wrote that they saw a scary lion and could smell the fresh air.

The children enjoyed reading their stories to the rest of the class!
