P6a – Sumdog Success
- P6a worked very hard this past week to try and win the Glasgow Sumdog competition. We came 5th overall and were the daily winners yesterday. We were also lucky enough to have one of our P6a pupils make it into the top 10.
I am very proud of your hard work as is the whole school. Congratulations !!!

P2 Author Visit
P2a and P2b were very lucky to have a special visitor work with their classes last week. Author and illustrator Ross Collins came to do a workshop with both classes. Ross Collins is the author of the book ‘There’s a bear on my chair’ and he spoke to the children about how he creates his ideas for stories and demonstrated how he draws his illustrations.
Ross showed the children how they could create their own illustrations of the bear and their pictures turned out fantastic!

Tomorrow is Fun Day at Hillington Primary, organised by our Parent Council. To clarify: tomorrow is NOT a dress down day. It has been agreed with the Headteacher that pupils should wear a school polo shirt and leggings or jogging bottoms. Please ensure pupils do not wear jewellery or earrings.
