RSPB in P5a

P5a have enjoyed learning all about the birds this term with our RSPB topic. We have had fun outside as well as research indoors. We created bird feeders and went bird watching. We also learned all about Maurice the Messy Magpie who wasn’t looking after his environment. The class have become a group of ‘twitchers’.

P5 RSPB Outdoor Learning

P5a were using their outdoor learning time to create bird kebabs and apple sunflowers. This is to help the birds in our local area during the winter time.

P 3a Outdoor Learning

This term we have been learning about Information Handling. The children went out into the playground in groups to do a litter survey and then used what they had learned to display their findings. They had fun doing it and the playground is now much cleaner too!
