Comments Off on P5a
It has been a busy week in P5a.
Cyber bullying:
We have raised our awareness of cyber bullying and how to prevent it.
Solar System:
We learned about how the planets orbit around the sun and used compasses to draw our own representations of the solar system. It was tricky!
Maths /Time:
We designed a clock that clearly showed us the link between minutes, 12 hour times and 24 hour times.

Comments Off on The Water Cycle
P4a are learning about the Water for their term 1 topic. This week our focus has been the Water Cycle. The water cycle describes the continuous movement of water on, above and below the surface of the Earth. The children learned how water goes through 3 different processes during the water cycle including; evaporation, condensation and precipitation.
On Wednesday, the children drew a diagram of the water cycle on a clear sealed bag. Then we stuck them to the window to see the process of condensation.
On Thursday, the children were given a lego challenge to show the process of the water cycle. Here are their fabulous results!
