STEM Charge

The STEM club have started making their lorries using offcuts of wood and the electrical mechanism. we are at the very early stages of creating and thinking of how to problem solve. Currently our lorries are struggling to carry weight. Tune in next week to see if we can manage to progress past carrying one bottle.

PE with Harry

P2b had lots of fun today with Harry from the Rangers Charity Foundation. We played the game Treasure Island and enjoyed working together to get more active, more often!

Ronald McDonald House – Christmas Choir

Ronald McDonald House Glasgow

Christmas Choir

Today our choir this lovely message from Ronald McDonald House in Glasgow. Well done boys and girls! We are very proud of you all. And a special thank you to Mrs Sharp for all of her hard work leading our choir.

Well, well, well, where to begin!

What a whirlwind December was, but it was made so much better by our lovely Christmas Carol events at Rutherglen, East Kilbride, Paisley and St Enoch shopping centres!

We are extremely pleased to announce that the total raised from all of the Christmas Carols combined is a whopping £5,678 and your school played a massive part in this by bringing along some lovely singers to entertain and wow the crowds!! You will shortly be receiving an official thank you letter and certificate to pop up for all to see which will outline your very own total raised from your schools performance.

From ‘Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree’ to ‘Silent Night’ the songs were just full of joy and the singers full of enthusiasm. From everyone here at the House (staff and families alike) we would like to say a HUGE thank you to each and every one of the children who sang their hearts out in support of Ronald McDonald House Glasgow in 2019!

We will be launching our dates for our 2020 Christmas Carols just after Summer but please do keep us in mind when planning your calendars for December.

If any of the pupils or teachers would like to come and visit the House to see exactly where their support is going, we would love to have them – just email us and we can organise the best date to suit.

Thanks once again for continuing to support Ronald McDonald House Glasgow and all the families who benefit by being close to their seriously ill child – we hope you have a healthy and fruitful 2020!

Kind regards
