P2b used numicon  and coins to make £1. We had lots of fun exploring the many ways to make 100p.

STEM Club

Today the STEM club hugely improved their ‘lorries’. They have progressed from struggling to carry one bottle to being able to carry multiple. One group even had 7 water bottles! Here is a snap shot of their learning today.

P5a have been enjoying studying their weekly reading books in groups. A leader is appointed who encourages listening and questioning skills about the text.

  1. P5a have started the new year with a very exciting project. First step was a visit to the Glasgow Science Centre for a number of informative workshops on how to implement the Clyde in the Classroom project.

P4/3 – Pablo Picasso Inspired Art

Over the past couple of weeks in p4/3 we have been learning about the artist Pablo Picasso. First we made stained glass windows for our super abstract faces. Then we learned that Pablo Picasso was part of the cubist movement so we created some cubism inspired tulips using oil pastels.
